Next July 8th María Mosquera Feijoo will present in the EEI her doctoral thesis  "Influence of Surface Ash Layer on Dual Corrosion", supervised by Julia Cristóbal y Axel Kranzmann.

Project in collaboration with AIMEN and VMS Automotive for characterization of Li-ion batteries as a function of operating conditions.

We have initiated the project FORJAL "Investigación en técnicas de forja en caliente de alumínio para fabricación de componentes estructurales de gran tamaño para automoción" with a metal forging  company.  The project will last for  2 years.

David Álvarez will present his PhD  thesis entitled  "DISEÑO DE NUEVOS BARNICES BASADOS EN SILANOS ORGANOFUNCIONALIZADOS DESTINADOS A LA INDUSTRIA CONSERVERA" on July 18th, at 11:00 in the Degrees room,  EEI (campus).

The new project "Selective electrochemical recovery of minor elements from tin base waste". aims at valorising wastes from a local industry.

The project CORPAN with the company SIMAUPRO has been launched. The project aims at characterising bread dough fermentation using electromechanical techniques. Duration: end 2017.

The  "10th International Symposium on Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy" was held in A Toxa from 19th to 24th June 2016.

148 delegates from 32 countries attended the conference. 135 contributions were presented.
